Stuart Attwell
where is the 'clown' reffing today then? or has the FA made him 'lye low' for a little while by giving him a couple of weeks 'break'?

I think he is doing the Hull v Millwall cup game...
I think he is doing the Hull v Millwall cup game...
and doing A&E after.

another 'stinker' at Hull after listening to talksport, Should've sent Warner off for a deliberate handball outside the box, but doesn't even book him! Millwall fans not happy and by the sounds of it, ripped up the KC stadium too.
When will the FA take proper action against Millwall?
Probably the same time that they take proper action against Attwell.![]()
Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock on 23-year-old referee Michael Oliver:
"I find it difficult to understand how they give referees Championship football at 23.
"I don't see how they can have the understanding of the game at that age. The way they are going he will be in the Premier League next year.
"We are pushing young referees because we haven't got a great group at the top. Young referees should have experienced linesman and I was hoping for a Premier League referee today."
Warner looked less than convincing and was almost involved in a moment of excruciating embarrassment when he lost his balance trying to deal with Ashbee's backpass.
The keeper managed to fall on the ball before McLeod could knock it into an empty net but, with the incident happening inside the Hull penalty area, referee Stuart Attwell awarded Millwall an indirect free-kick from which Lewis Grabban shot wide.
Hull's opener came after 15 minutes when Turner got across the Lions defence and headed past David Forde.
I notice that our friend from the first Notts County game, Oliver, got some real stick today from Palace after the game with Watford. Warnock really lambasted him for his performance and also mentioned Attwell too.
Some of us were saying this **** would start a riot before long. Hopely this is this end of Attwell.
Just had a call from my Hull supporting mate. Apparently Attwell was appalling, gave a highly dubious penalty to Hull, and the 'Wall decided to kick off. 'Wall fans were bombarding the radio blaming Hull fans too, but from the reports I heard, the the Bermondsey morons instigated the charge across the neutral area towards the Hull fans. When will the FA take proper action against Millwall?
Hull fans on 606 admitted that a few hundred of them were goading the Millwall fans from close distance

Most seem tothink it was a fair decision on this site!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I presume that what Warner did was to deny a clear goalscoring opportunity and so how can there be any other conclusion than a red card. He certainly gave me the impression that he knew what he was doing by dropping on the ball.
I'm sure the thought of sending off an important home player for the second week running had nothing to do with his reticence to show red.

Give the lad a break.......
preferably both legs![]()

I noticed in "Game On" on the O/S that in tomorrows programme there is an 'interesting' article on Greg Read (is he a GPGer ?)who apparently answered the call for a qualified ref at the NC game. I wonder if he has anything to say about Shatwell![]()
Was chatting to a club official at Macc & he was saying that though they were glad Nathan wasn't playing against them nobody there could believe the sending off either. He also mentioned that none of the match officials had any idea of where SA had come from - he certainly didn't appear to have 'worked his way up' as most have to - seems there may well be some resentment towards him from his colleagues :grey:
I see he's "refereeing" the Charlton/Palace game tomorrow. If he's up to his normal standard, I can see him & Warnock getting on like a house on fire
If Warnock thought Michael Oliver was bad...
What does he have to do to get sacked?I see he's "refereeing" the Charlton/Palace game tomorrow. If he's up to his normal standard, I can see him & Warnock getting on like a house on fire
