As the PL meanders to its conclusion in more exciting news Belgian player and confirmed wrong ‘un Kim Huybrechts was involved in a fight after the Belgian cup final which has apparently resulted in him breaking his shoulder in two places

What a year for Littler, a 9 dart finish in the Bahrain Masters, Euro Tour and a Premier League final.

Luke Humphries is a great player and a worthy World Champion.
The Question is what is Luke Littler going to be ?
At 17 you can already see he is going to be right up there and moving the bar even higher.
Very good players will have to get even better to just compete.
The second half of the match last night was some of the best darts you could wish to see.

Went to the final with my 12 year old son. Swag was flying off the shelf. Usual fancy dress from flocks of sheep to packets of crayola crayons. It was a great night with all four players playing their part but you felt most were there to watch Luke Littler. The 9 darter was mental. Just like at a gig where everyone is throwing beer in the air. Poor guy in front of me got drenched. On the way back to North Greenwich it was ‘theres only oooooooonnnnneeeee Luke Littler!’ being sung for ages. I now have a dart board in the man shed where all my four boys practice! Luke Littler is a sensation!

"Only" £7 for a choice of one lager and one cider at the Liverpool leg.
Made two pints last three hours as I'd had plenty beforehand. Lots of others back and forth to the bar generally of course, long queues. Probably almost as expensive in the bars and restaurants elsewhere in the O2.

In case anyone was thinking of joining the 1.3 million people on Twitter who replied to the above message wondering, I'm sure the 2 pint price is for an extra large glass with two pints in it, not because people need help multiplying the price of a pint by two...

The four-day World Cup of Darts starts on Thursday. Probably one of the most fun events of the year as it’s pairs all the way from the group stages to the final.

The four seeded nations, including England enter in the knockout stage from Saturday. The pairs are automatically decided by rankings - the top two highest ranked players from each nation - so there’s no Littler for England and Luke Humphries teams up with Michael Smith.

Watch out for the Belgian team, their pairing of Kim Huybrechts and Dimitri Van Den Bergh despise one another and refused to even look at each other on stage in the early rounds last year.

It takes place in Frankfurt which will be interested if the scenes at the Euro tour in Leverkusen this weekend were anything to go by.

Yep Austria have seen off the fancied Belgians and the Scots thus far.

The heroics of Chinese Tapai/Taiwan were probably the highlights of the tournament.

England not really been challenged and should win at a canter.

That final has come round quick. Watched bits and pieces and did enjoy the Chinese Taipei v Austria match.

England should coast home but I enjoy watching Mensur, always looks so emotional.
