Left with 161 at the weekend, and with opponent Gerwyn Price on the same score, Ross Smith chose not to try and take it out, electing to set up a more straightforward finish.

Price duly takes out the 161 but Smith says he would do the same thing again, citing the percentage of Price making it (though presumably the 3.49% is all players).

Yep his comments about Chris Dobey were the final straw for me.

If it wasn’t for there being two nights in Scotland (even though he’s as Scottish as Rod Stewart) and the fact he has silly hair and they want his image on the posters he wouldn’t have been in.

The Premier League is a glorified exhibition but players should be there on merit.

Wright loses tonight in the first round of this weekend’s Euro Tour to Mickey Mansell. Not only is he rock bottom of the PL he’s hemorrhaging ranking money at the moment. He’s got a lot to defend this year as well so is going to plummet down the Order of Merit.

Another Euro Tour win for Littler over the weekend having flown straight to Graz from Liverpool. He's only played in three and has won two of them and had to play more matches to win it than would usually be the case as he's unseeded.
