Actually, if you look at the quality of his posts over the years he appears to have matured considerably. Which is quite worrying. I may offer to befriend him. I think he needs somebody.

Marcus has been playing as well as at any time with us.

What worries me slightly that he looked to be our most creative player yesterday when he should be our water carrier.

Would agree that by his standards that was a good performance however I would suggest that Forrester might make a difference in an attacking formation as whilst Bean puts his head where it hurts and is 100% commitment I beleive that as an attacking player he has considerable llimitations. He is best when getting in the opposition faces and is competing with Douglas for that role, who is a better footballer. Not criticising him as I thought he worked very hard however if others are fit then I suggest his position is perhaps the one most likely to suffer.

Yes agree, its going to be horses for courses this season. Like last night Adams played instead of Woodman, next week different opponents, different format etc etc. If a player is dropped from the starting line up it does not mean that he is playing bad, that is the point of a rotation system. We could come unstuck if a player or players stop supporting this type of management, but if the players can keep their nerve and faith in the system, it could be a fantastic season.

I think Marcus has raised his game this season and is at his best when up and at 'em and stopping oppo midfielders from settling and having time to play.
I've lots of time for him but suspect that when everybody is available, it may be difficult to find a place in a midfield with the following to pick from Douglas, Dave, McGinn, Harry, Jake Reeves, Weston, Sam Saunders, Kev O'Connor, Sam Wood and him.
Tough call, let's hope he keeps making it difficult to ignore him.

Congrats Beanie - always gives 100% whether starting or coming off the bench and that's more than can be said about some spoilt brats in the premiership. Beanie's played really consistently this season. Great ball to Weston that allowed the run and cross to set up McGinn for his goal vs. Preston
