Its struggling with demand, I think, especially with just a few dozen tickets seemingly left. At a guess when the number of users exceeds the number of tickets its blocking anyone else out.

Two separate accounts, both eligible members logged in via different browsers. One showing tickets available (although can't purchase the single seat available in West Stand) the other appears sold out.

a few dozen ?? more like few thousands and more !!! unless they fix these problems theres no way this game will be anywhere near a full house.....its incredible to think we actually have a website that disuades you from buying a ticket !!!

@hobbsy Can I ask what action BIAS is taking to flag up to the club the unfolding circus over tickets? IMHO now, perhaps more than for a very long time, is when BIAS should be holding people’s feet to the fire and pushing for immediate action on a ‘you said, we did’ basis. This has all the makings of having a negative financial and reputational impact for the club. If it’s a ‘disaster’ for the event and on the day, I’m not sure a ‘lessons have been learnt’ response will be enough, given the months and months of advance warnings the club management has had on this whole fiasco.

There was a club statement about this, I'm pretty sure it was along the lines of you can only purchase tickets if you have bought membership before the first tickets go on sale (first on sale being last Monday).

I'm not sure whether this is what you mean too but it is true that others will be able to see the value of a £40 membership, for better or worse.
Also just to add regarding Bracknell Bee's post - the system is designed so that tickets will go to all members for every category A match, it is not due to any lack of demand from other categories of fans. 50% of Arsenal match tickets were reserved for sale at 11am today.
Whether that is a good thing or not is a matter for debate. But I wouldn't want anyone to think there wasn't enough demand from "loyal fans" meaning this situation arose.
And yes there is a possible route for away fans to get tickets in the home end, provided they are willing to part with £40 membership plus the cost of a match ticket, per person, depending on how strictly the club try to police this. But this is probably drifting away from system issues.

Not the least of which is that the WCB are leaving Devon and Cornwall on Friday week before the post arrives in our Communities; this means that there are nine days left with post delivered for the STs to arrive so that we may get into the ground; there are many thousands of STs to deliver, running across the entire fanbase, I believe, into five figures.
Have a glance at Post 263 from yesterday about what happened three Seasons back before the first game of that Season, against Rotherham; we are travelling some 275 miles up and 275 back to support the Club and it is not unreasonable IMHO that we should have the STs before we travel and not, at the end of the journey, have to get involved in queues at the Box Office; I understand that Long Term supporters of the Club missed up to the first half hour of the Hammers game because of having to queue to resolve administrative issues with their tickets that prevented them gaining access to their seats.
If this sequence of events were to happen again (ie non arrival of STs) it will be seriously reputationally damaging for the Club and will significantly taint the marevellous achievements of both the On and Off Field Managements over the last seasons; something that I have tremendous respect and appreciation for; and for which I am grateful.

There will be plenty of people not at their home addresses on Friday when the postman comes. He comes to mine (in West London) in the afternoons these days. If I were working in an office I wouldn't be coming home before heading to the match.
So they need to get a move on, I agree.

You're absolutely right, SH, but there is an overriding problem which means the supporters' cause, whether expressed by BIAS or s.o. else, probably won't be heeded.
Simply, if you want to buy tickets to see Brentford, you have to use Brentford's system. And when that system proves utterly unfit, they know that supporters aren't going to go to watch eg Chelsea or QPR instead, like you might eg switch to Tesco if Sainsbury are pissing you around all the time.
Of course the club doesn't want to piss off its fans gratuitously, but if the alternative is spending a significant sum of money (and disruption) to replace Securtix, then my guess is that we'll just have to put up with more of this crap. And let's face it, there was nothing in JV's long letter to indicate otherwise. ?

to be fair, there was loads of leeds dotted around gp on the various occasions they played there.....they didnt find it hard to get tickets and for one game they virtually had all of hate corner.....premiership fans are usually a bit more reserved about doing things like that and dont tend to turn up en masse like leeds did......if theres 1s and 2s dotted around its not a big deal......as long as they arent next to me it has to be said

Having been on hold for the ticket office 35 minutes on two occasions before being put through to voicemail (I don't understand why I can't just leave a message immediately when calling instead of waiting for over half an hour) I'm keen to find out if my son still has his season ticket, as it's completely disappeared from his online ticket account. No, it's a queueing system that diverts to one of many mobile numbers at the end. That step seems fragile (if the phone is engaged or whatever) and then it goes to answerphone.

Thanks - have emailed and called again. Yet another 34 minute wait before getting dumped into a voicemail. During those 3 x 34 mins waits I've been 20th in the queue, 2nd in the queue and 11th in the queue respectively.
As an aside, it takes approximately 33 minutes for the hold music to get to the best song on rotation - She Sells Sanctuary by The Cult...

I wouldn't bother calling. Every call someone makes is 4 emails they can't answer. The calling solution is broken whilst the Box Office staff are self-isolating.

We're going to have about 15,000 home fans.
GP had a capacity under 12K. No one except a lucky few has been to a league match in 18 months. Not that long ago you could easily get home tickets without being a member. It's a mathematical certainty there will be home fans with zero TAPS.
