I don't want another relatively inexperienced manager either, results, previous incumbent and common sense dictate that we must go for somebody with some sort of managerial track record but we're talking Brentford so no doubt Nicky Forster will still be in charge come 1st game of next season.

I have no problem with that. It is being dealt with in absolutely the right way. There is no imminent danger of relegation which allows time for everything to be done carefully.

He didn't enjoy his time at Brentford, he told me himself. Damn good manager, if he did leave he would go to a Championship/Premiership side, after all he does deserve to.

Would touch Colemen with a barge pole and I don't think Williams or Ritchie would be much of an improvement on what we have. Wouldn't be too unhappy with Danny Wilson but it's not going to get the pulses racing and isn't the answer to solving the problem of falling attendances. The question is, is Nicky Forster?

He's currently squeezing blood from a stone by keeping Dagenham in Division One.
I'd be happy if either him or Keith Hill took over at the end of the season. Also, remember that the one thing his Daggers sides managed to do in Div Two was score goals.

I'm not sure the next managerial appointment matters as much as who will be in the squad next season. One of the things that needs to be looked at is how we are acquiring our players. There will always be exceptions but I think our luck on the loan market has finally run out and we should be looking to develop our own players rather than paying for the privilege of winding up other club's players. Having strength in depth seems to have left us with a puddle of mediocrity as well, so the longer term plan may well be to have a smaller squad of higher quality. As things stand, next season will be another one like this.

And I don't want another season like this one (Everton game excepted). Quite frankly, having a Michael Jackson statue on the Braemar forecourt would be less of an embarrassment than results against the likes of Swindon, Dagenham and the now notorious Walsall double.

I wasn't at Walsall so can't comment on the performance. What is very evident [ don't we know it] is that there's a lot of deadwood that has to be pruned. I'm still in favour of Fozzie getting the job as he is setting out the style we need to adopt to have success-it seems that we don't have enough players with the required skills- a very over hyped squad. It's a massive task for the next manager.
