Centre Forward Needed
and lots on here didn't rate vine i seem to remember???
Including me. He was a lot younger however, and in a cack team.

Odds on it'll end in tears although at present I wish we could find someone claiming to shell out whatever's required because he loves the town and doesn't expect any ROI until they are 2 divisons higher!http://home.skysports.com/transferarticle.aspx?hlid=440931
i know he's not a forward, but he was/is a very good central midfielder..........
Peterborough's new owner certainly splashing the cash........
................but he grew on us......................
Other then Joe Kuffour none of our forwards have scored at griffin park this season. We have to win on Saturday, otherwise we are doomed. please Please Scott Get A Forward on Loan tomorrow give us hope.
i was hoping that with ROB's winning bet money (see the long long drawn out kitchen refurb thread)............which he thinks he's won hands down................that ROB will donate the £20k for us to get his mates mate mate Neil Shipperley on loan.....................it'll add a 1000 or so to the gate.............................any news Mr ROB..............??
ROW ROW ROWAN VINE
SCORING GOALS FOR BEES
MERRILY MERRILY MERRILY MERRILY
WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE
Oh happy happy days
Willock scored against Gillingham.
Agree we could do with a new face upfront however.

I've got an idea. Why not sign anyone and just carry on with a team who can't score goals.![]()
At least that will appease everyone for a couple of days before the "why did clueless Fitz sign that donkey" threads start.I think Royal Oak Bee should play up front on Saturday.
I have seen him score a goal at GP, and I think he would be a popular choice amongst the fans.
Also, it would mean he would spend less time on the GPG.

Kevin Gallen gone to Plymouth![]()
Don't be sad, he's a ****
Yeah he may be, but he could have done a brilliant job for us.
Always pop up with a goal.
Lack of a decent striker cost us promotion last season.
Now with nothing more than a talented midget upfront we are going down.
I'm sick and tired of it. There must be someone out there for us.
Where's the goals coming from tomorrow? Kev: Free kick or Pen?
It's not good enough Scott or Brentford, you should have acted by now.
what is the latest time you can register a player for them to play on sat
Presumably if it is a loan player we would pay his hotel/rental costs so expense in that context would not be the players problem.

Adam Birchall would have been a good 'un. He's now gone to Barnet. It seems every team has more appeal than us, even in the lower league!

£45 per night, Brentford Travel Lodge
Yeh, like we need another 5ft 7inch forward who plays off a centre forward.![]()
He also scored 2 goals in 36 games for Mansfield, prolific!!!![]()
"We are working endless hours to bring in new faces. We’ve been up and down the country every day this week. We’re hopefully getting closer to what we want to do. I know what I want to do. We’ve not signed anyone yet but I’m hoping it will be sorted by Wednesday."
Well unless SF was referring to Che ( which I hope not as the question was regarding a striker ) we are still waiting on this one........
Well its not Luke Rodgers as he has gone to Port Vale which in turn throws doubt over Lee Peacock who Sturrock wont let go of until he has signed a new striker apparently.
All roads lead to a Ship, a very big Shipp in fact, lets just hope it is not that big anymore type of Shipp after his runs along the Thames at Teddington.
Grazioli's available on loan from Barnet, getting on a bit now but could certainly do a job.
Personally I think we could (and probably will) do a lot worse.

Agree,If we are reduced to getting in knackered old pony's from the mighty barnet then we may aswell pack up and go home![]()
I refuse to believe we can't do any better than that, if he's not good enough for them, what makes you think he's is gonna fire in 10 goals and keep us up, complete tosh
I'd rather stick with what we have
Steve Guinan at Cheltenham?
Steve Guinan at Cheltenham?
Not good enough for Cheltenham then no thanks![]()
Grazioli, i have always liked and wanted to sign him a few years back when he was banging them in the Confrence.
As said previously he is a poacher, but not heard or seen him score for Barnet that much recently![]()

agree with you spider re Guinan, Just been reading his track record on Cheltenham web site. Certainly looks as though he could do the biz. Can do what the Pillock does but Guinan can score witch is more than Willock can do.

So thats a no to a striker with a club higher than us,
but a yes to an injured, veteran striker, in the divison lower than us.
Are you Leroy ?
