Increasingly unsure where JDS plays in our current set up though. I'd absolutely love it if he proved me wrong, but he seems like he'd be pretty far down at right pivot, RW, or 10. He could absolutely play as the right 10 in a 4222, but that seems to be a formation we're playing to get Jensen and Damsgaard in the same side rather than for its own sake, and I doubt we're making similar accomodations for JDS unless he blows us all away with his return to form.
You’d imagine it will be a very very slow reintegration to the team, and a role coming off the bench for 20 mins against tired defences is probably exactly where he could have an impact for now… will need to be space on the bench to accommodate that though.
A young player who could have opportunities off the bench and could replace Vitaly long term would be a great option…

Dunno, but I suspect his agents are sending out feelers now so that when the time comes they can say “you can earn X at Leverkusen etc or Y at Brentford” making the choice easier…

I imagine all we've got left in store are the Pondy announcement (which could well be after the window shuts), Onyeka and Maghoma departures, and *maybe* one incoming in central/defensive midfield to replace them, but I wouldn't be that surprised if they thought actually Onyeka/Maghoma/Konak weren't playing anyway, so there's no urgent need to replace them if there's no decent opportunities this window.

Not at all, not a complaint either. Just a statement of fact. I’d be fine with no more incomings. Even if we were being linked to players, it seems like our signings are often done much more quietly than others
and, as you will remember, early in the window rather than later on in the window (which is when less organised clubs...panic)
Thought I read something from the club about not needing anymore. Probably mistaken then.
