Luton protest

So now you are asking me for a statement. Are you completely bonkers????

Luton protest

WILL BEESWORLD BE ISSUING A STATEMENT ON THE LUTON GAME???

No one who's going to the game will be listening to Beesworld other than the blind supporters who, presumably behave themselves anyway

Frankly you yourself could, indeed, issue a statement simply urging Bees fans to go along tomorrow and focus just on getting behind our team.
Now, that would not be difficult , would it?

No one listens to Banana, period :D

Luton protest

Can we just enjoy being Champions? I am just interested in having a couple of beers and enjoying the day. Come on you Bees!

Luton protest

I think the Police are laughing themselves stupid that only 1,000 of the 40,000 who turned up at Wembley can be arsed turning up at TW8. Hardly worth breaking out the horse or the dog squad... :)

Luton protest

Yes Banana, I am one of those who works, unpaid, for this club , and have done so, in several capacities, for over 30 years.Year in , year out.
That does not, of course, make me any better than you nor any other fan.But it may explain why I do not wish to see our club risk its reputation by persons of influence making irresponsible and arrogant statements , and waging 'hate campaigns' at a time like this. :nono:

I understand both parties here however geoffbee mark is not saying that we should all go and take the mick out of loo town ( tho if the boot was on the other foot they would be ripping us to shreds) banter is a part of football if you take the banter out of the game we may aswell stop going to games and go to snooker insted!

Mr Nana. Bonkers is not what I would call Sir Geoff at all. There's a lot of people who can see his point of view and in what he says too. Everyone has views.

This is meant to be a time of great joy in being a Bees fan.....

Let's just enjoy tomorrow eh? Pretty please

Luton protest

Given that the Luton managed to quote Andy Scott and Greg Dyke's comments about them on their official website, wouldn't it be nice to read their congratulations to us on the same site or even for their manager to mention it in his quotes that are shown?

Not going to lose any sleep about it

I'm sure

"
This is meant to be a time of great joy in being a Bees fan....."" - tell it to GEOFFBEE who keeps banging on about how awful BU are and how bad the GPG newsletters are for pointing out facts to supporters.

Luton protest

Another assumption no doubt!

I am sick of you knocking BU and the GPG for your own agenda.

No-one else is asking BU for a statement except you
No-one else took exception to the GPG newsletters...except you

My agenda is simply to see BFC survive and prosper.
And if you think I am the only person who feels that BU could do some things better well, you are very deluded ,my friend. You and I have both 'done our bit' for BU in the past, and I want to see it succeed. Some of my criticism is that I believe it could do a better job of promoting itself, and that it could be more pro-active in a number of areas. You know full well that even some of its leadership feel exactly the same way.Perhaps it is because I have such a passion to see BU and BFC do well that I voice my concerns quite often, but that is not a crime, is it? Indeed I recall that you yourself have been a regular and very vocal critic in the past!( prior, of course, to you joining its board). I try to keep my criticism constructive, and try to refrain from personal 'abuse'.
As for GPG well ,let me clear the air.
I think it can be a very useful platform for providing information and debating matters concerning the club, and it also serves as a very absorbing medium for discussing many subjects that interest us. And for that, I give you and those at GPG towers a lot of credit.I believe I was one of the first to thank you , on GPG, for the great coverage last weekend.
My issue with you is because you often take a nasty line of attack on individuals that is often uncalled for, and, at times, can be destructive.Only you can answer that one...And, yes, I did feel you were wrong to give out info re the Dagenham match that COULD have lead to our fans and theirs being put at risk.I do not apologise for that.
Re the Luton match, I have consistently asked that Bees fans focus on getting behind the team tomorrow, and to avoid, at all costs, doing or saying anything that can inflame the situation. If you take exception to that, well that is a pity, but I believe I do speak for many Brentford fans on this.Certainly Andy Scott, Greg Dyke and BIAS seem to think we should adopt a sportsmanlike attitude, and I give them great credit for this
I guess you and I will never be 'bosom buddies' but that is ok with me.It will not stop me standing up for what I believe in...
So now let us put this aside FFS, and simply save ourselves for cheering on the team and helping celebrate a very commendable achievement.

Get a grip of yourself

:)Anybody remember the Grimsby taking the Royal Oak about thirty odd years ago and getting chased out by one lunatic who had found out that they'd beaten up his mate? Anyway, he's with his family team tomorrow. Not that he gives a sh*t what happens tomorrow. At least it won't be as deflating as getting trounced 3-0 at Workington on their last game in the league, after a twelve hour coach trip. In fact, I personally, with apologies to Luton Bee, give my blessing to any stunts that Luton pull, providing it isn't directed at innocent people. Talk about MP's, I think the FA folk are in front of them in the queue for death by Swine Flu. Am I being naive? Are some Luton fans going to be nasty? Doubt if they can out-nasty the FA, bearing in mind many decisions they have made recently.
Don't give a monkeys. We are going up and we are going up as Champions as I first predicted soon after the Chester away narrow 3-0 defeatlol, and I also predicted a 0-3 result tomorrow.

Luton protest

Yeah, that markbfc has done **** ALL for this club :banghead:

I never said he has not done much for the club, but, if I gave that impression then I do apologise.
I acknowledge that, like you and many others, he has done lots for dear old BFC.
He is also a popular figure in the Press Room.
Indeed, as a cameraman, many journalists and reporters often admire and envy his enormous equipment...
:D

Luton protest

rumour I just heard was 39,000 Looton fans coming without tickets as they want to be better than Bardiff

I'm worried

:(:(:(

Luton protest

Sorry? What's this? There is another team turning up tomorrow? This is a BEES party

The news letters are often my highlight of the day keep the good work mate:thetruth:

There will be two versions of the newsletter in the future

1. For GEOFFBEE only with happy-clappy type of stuff (I am commissioning Larry Signy to write this one)

2. One for everyone else except GEOFFBEE

Now, for once, you have said something sensible.
When will I get my first copy, please?!:sorted:

Luton protest

Don't wish too soon, you might get a special version of the GPG too :D

Now, that really would be super!
Thank you so much Mr Banana.
I just knew that you liked me really:D

Well thank you Mr Banana. I accept your written commission (which I believe would stand up in a court of law) - but I have to ask if you pay the union rate?

For Markbfc

A lot of people (you included?) have spoken about the cost to BFC of extra policing tomorrow's game. Won't most of the extras be OUTSIDE the ground, and therefore not The Bee's responsibility or charge?

Luton protest

This thread is sh*t now...:yawn::yawn:

Can we get back to the Luton porotest and them trying to kick the sh*t out of anything and everything please :muchmorefun::wave:

A message from your spiritual advisor...

to refer to them on here as 'cheating' and 'cretins' is hardly going to help the atmosphere at Griffin Park tomorrow.

...oh yeah, because we all lean towards Mark to tell us what to shout and that... ...well I do, he's my hero... ...oh no, sorry, that's what he says about me :homer::angel2::shake:

May the footballing Gods smile on all of us tomorrow and let us bask in the sunshine glinting off the silverware as it floats magically over the greenest and most holy of pitches, that of Griffin Park...

...Then we can all giggle at Luton sneakily behind our hands...

Luton protest

It is not nonsense, Mark.
True, the unfortunate reputation of some ( but not all) Luton fans does not help.
But nor do the threats of goading from some BFC fans( who should know better)You know as well as I do, that such actions might well exacerbate the situation, and I am very disappointed that folk like you, whom I admire and resapect in many other ways, do not try to discourage this, in the same fashion as Andy Scott, Greg Dyke and BIAS.
As a BU board director, your calling of Luton fans as 'cretins' is very ill-advised indeed ...

i find this a bizarre statement. without wishing to state the obvious: it's a football match- it's what happens at football. as simple as that. there are certain chants at football that are totally unacceptable (look no further than west ham / lampard's recently deceased mother) but to condemn fans for giving luton some stick on the terrace for being relegated (a totally football related thing) personally, i see no wrong. if the reaction is violence, then the blame will lye completely at their door...

Luton protest

no chance of there being an onions left at half time :grey:

 I was down the pub talking to Lanky Loo Town Lou and he reckoned that some of the hardcore guys had answered Muck Harford's call to "ruin the party" and have got hold of tickets in the home stands. Apparently "its all gonna be propa co-ordinated and sh*t", they are all going to order 6 burgers with extra onions before kick off and by half time there will be no onions left! These thugs are confident of making our catering look "propa non-league" and "hitting us where it hurts".

I don't know about you but i am brickin it........anyone need a ticket for tomorrow?

Luton protest

Anyone fancy a Blue Square Season Ticket for..............£450 !!!!!!!

Luton protest

maybe Hampton is the answer. Next season we have Southampton, they may have Hampton.

Blue is the colour,
Blue Square is it's name,
You're fecking off there,
Now isn't that a shame....

Now this what 2moro is all about 4 anyone deluded enough to believe that banter isn't a huge part of our national game...

Most luton fans including some of the thugs mentioned on here are acknowledging that we are worthy champions and expect us to give them stick as they have done to us in the past.

Luton protest

I'm well tooled up with 2 and a half chomp bars and a couple of cheddar cheese cubes. I aint taking any chances.

Also if this mascot geezer Ace Ventura or whatever his name is gets to close to the New Road he might get chomped too. U've been served notice...

Luton protest

I cannot believe I'm not going to be there

Luton protest

from what I could see a poor effort:wave:

Luton protest

all of that, "were going to smash everything up" thing was a load of cr4p

Luton protest

Some Bees fans were so worried about Luton fans disrupting the presentation that they did it for them :(

Luton protest

all of that, "were going to smash everything up" thing was a load of cr4p

Did they ever actually say that? Or was it scaremongers stirring things up? I have no lost love for Luton but I thought their fans were a credit to their club today, which is more than can be said for some of our little chavs.
