Funnily enough the last time I think we had him was at Sheff Wed last year and he was fine.

As for last night, I wonder what northampton bee made of his mate's reffing performance?

I was just thinking the same, despite trying to find something to moan about he actually had a good game.

Andy D'Urso I thought did a good job today, better than I thought he would.

Pretty much got most decisions right,

Not sure about the linesman in front of the Paddock, particularly the "offside" goal, need to see that one again plus the corner that wasn't given following a save by the
keeper.

One of the better performances this season.

...............was Claytons assailant right to get just a yellow????????.................not really a goalscoring opportunity but a robust challenge.............

I thought it was a yellow but he could easily have got red. It wasn't high, it wasn't "out of control" and it wasn't malicious - the defender was done by very quick feet and was therefore late in the tackle.

From B Block The "corner" he gave Clayton offside if Clayton hadnt followed the ball over he would not have interfered with play but he did some came in play(no puns) so was offside Trotta however did not think he was offside and yes for once Durso did ok although felt he should have given us a bit more for some of the Utd "in the backs"

On reflection probably a yellow, but seen reds given for similar. However, given we'd used all our 3 subs, would have been reduced to 10 men had CD had to go off through no fault of our own. Having said that he was really crocked and a passenger thereafter.

He did take a real battering today. He was limping badly earlier in the game until he was able to run the knock off.

Graham Scott was superb today I thought. The early advantages he gave set the tone for an enjoyable flowing game of football. He made one poor decision against Logan for an alleged foul on Pogba infront of the paddock but apart from that he got it spot on. Hope to see him back at GP soon.

He's been appointed to ref the replay with Bradford on Tuesday with Sian Massey assisting.

Ref Watch

I really like this ref, he was in charge against Norwich when we won 2-1 and he stands out for not standing out if you get my drift. He lets the game flow and has been very good on subsequent visits.

Ref Watch

You can just see this going wrong with red cards sprinkled like confetti !!

..............today's ref was appalling..............a laughable display............

He always is. The clue is his surname (Kettle). Always seems fussy and sees a different game to everyone else. His poor decisions normally alienate both sides!

How county didn't get booked in the 1st half I don't know! Sheehan bringing down clayton twice when in dangerous areas which usually merit a card. I also think it was Zoloft who brought down clayton on the byline near the box and again nothing. He then decides to book Harry for a dive when a shot a goal looked on, booked trotta for a clever turn using his shoulder! Joke

Ref was awful, but Trotta's card wasn't for that incident (which was never a foul), but for one which was probably a foul, but not a yellow

Ref Watch

..................sorry but how poor was the ref and the lino on our side of the pitch.............very inconsistent with his bookings..............

Ref Watch

So we have a rooky ref in charge of what will be a fiesty match today. Can see a few yellow cards maybe even a red but I do hope I'm wrong.

A real shame Phillips is a pretty competent, if unspectacular ref, Robinson we had against Shrewsbury and was pretty dire and does not have a good reputation in his first season. Dont know why PGMOL could not allocate a more experienced ref for this game, other than a location issue as Robinson is from Bognor Regis.

...............was today's ref breathalysed???????..........

Paddock lino would have been more at home in the paddock, bit of a tubster (as was the ref).

.................thought this evenings ref was very good..............nice gesture of walking to Paul Smith at the final whistle and patting him on the back............

Yup thought the ref was good too - careful with that gesture to Paul Smith though - he will be 'stood down' for doing something human like that lino at the weekend!

Probably a prem league one who will give all the decisions to Chelsea, need a league ref as some we have had have been pretty good. Failing that get mr Singh out of retirement as he likes the Bees !!!

If your gonna take that cynical view it could be argued a league ref will want to make a name for himself.

Not surprising as he comes from Hounslow !!

Anyone bar that total ****** that we had yesterday. The Tranmere keeper started timewasting after their first goal but the ref did nothing and what was all the performance about a couple of idiots throwing a couple of snowballs in his direction, going around picking up tiny bits of snow. *****! Sorry did I say anyone it seems that 50% of the refs we get are poor. As for the linos, I know its not easy watching the offsides when your trying to keep one eye on the player at the front and another on the one playing the ball but so many now seem to wait for the ref to decide who the throw is for before indicating themselves. I am sure that many of the refs have the attitude that the crowd have come to watch them rather than the game.

Ref Watch

Thought he made a number of poor decisions. The push on Trotta in the back when in full flight in their half was the worst, tried to pass it off as shoulder to shoulder somehow.

Ref Watch

:nono: We should be discussing who the ref will be for the Orient game first. The league is priority. ;)

Ref Watch

The referee for the game is Mr Jonathon Moss who is a premier League ref and was in charge of Man City v Fulham last weekend

His Brentford games:

2/11/05 - FA Cup: Rochdale 0 Brentford 1
21/10/06 - League One: Brentford 2 Gillingham 2 (Fell for a Jupp dive and sent Masters off)
2/2/08 - League Two: Mansfield 2 Brentford 3 (Can't remember anything controversial)
25/11/08 - League Two: Luton 0 Brentford 1
20/2/10 - League One: Walsall 2 Brentford 1 (Can't remember anything controversial)
9/11/11 - JPT: Swindon 1 Brentford 1

His Chelsea games

26/12/12 - Premier League: Norwich 0 Chelsea 1

Ref Watch

Well some of us know of him as he has been reffing in the League for a number of years and is an associate ref on Prem this season.

Googled and do now recognise him, short and a little over weight much like Dowd.

Ref Watch

..............how good was that fella??????.......
