Rico Henry
I hope so and believe he will beAt his best I would certainly go for Henry - the question is will he be at his best?

Me too. As brilliantly as KLP filled in, Henry (pre-injury) was still the better defender, so I hope he's back to his previous best and wins his place back.At his best I would certainly go for Henry - the question is will he be at his best?
Agree as another option out wise as Hickey can cover RicoI can certainly see KLP being needed further up the field
KLP has been outstanding; Henry has been out for two years. It would send a very strange message to the squad if one was summarily dropped for the other. Henry will have to earn his place and wait for his opportunity.I'm thinking that with our attacking this season being a little untried, we might focus on the strongest defence we can put out so maybe Rico will nudge ahead of KLP when we start the season.
Disagree a fully fit Rico has to start we need klp further up the pitch.KLP has been outstanding; Henry has been out for two years. It would send a very strange message to the squad if one was summarily dropped for the other. Henry will have to earn his place and wait for his opportunity.

In theory, fitness should not be a issue and I'm of the view that he's a better defender.
KLP will be a good man to have further up the pitch.
Think he's actually rightfooted so he wouldn't be inverted. Might be wrong though!I'd prefer Rico back , can KLP play RWB as an inverted winger to replace Bryan ?
think you may be correct ,doh !Think he's actually rightfooted so he wouldn't be inverted. Might be wrong though!
Having developed his defending as LB, it will be useful in many games where 442 352 are required during games.I suppose it all depends on how much KLP has bought into the LWB role. If he’s chomping at the bit to get forward into his more natural position it makes things easier for KA. If he now sees himself as a LWB then of course Rico has to displace him. Personally, I would like to see Rico back where he belongs, but Keane has earnt the right to choose I think.
Agree, I see no reason why they both can’t play. If they were to take turns pushing, running forward. It would create a constant threat, one recovering and covering, the other at full blast. If done right would push any opposing teams midfield and full backs.Having developed his defending as LB, it will be useful in many games where 442 352 are required during games.
I think after a whole season we can assume he's "bought into it"!I suppose it all depends on how much KLP has bought into the LWB role. "a little untried..." slight understatement.I'm thinking that with our attacking this season being a little untried, we might focus on the strongest defence we can put out so maybe Rico will nudge ahead of KLP when we start the season.
Thought he looked good todsyThat looked like the old Rico to me, right?
I thought his touch and passing was a bit rusty. Still looks quick thankfullyThat looked like the old Rico to me, right?
Looked class but I got worried when I saw him limping first half. That looked like the old Rico to me, right?
He even got a cross in!Thought he looked good todsy
Indeed and another cross shot that keeper saved wellHe even got a cross in!
I’d guess he’s still playing his way back to full match fitness but you could see the full-back brain was still there.Thought he looked fit and a yard quicker today
You should have saidFor me Rico has to start vs forest along with kayode Collins vdb
Same to you about Wissa you've said the same thing 4 5 times ...You should have said
Love that reply. Nice to workSame to you about Wissa you've said the same thing 4 5 times ...
Controversial opinion warning……!!! I think that the level we are aspiring to be at may just be a step too far for Rico.
I love the guy a fantastic servant to the club and still a force to be reckoned with but even at his very best I don’t think he offers us the options and threat that the modern game demands of a full back .
His ability on the ball is just not at the level of what Hickey , Kayode or KLP offer and he’s always been quite predictable going forwards, the threat posed by KLP and Schade down the left last season was one of our key ways of breaking down the opposition and meant the threat came from both flanks.
The offensive shortcomings of his game has to be balanced of course with how good he is defensively and how quick he clearly still is so he definitely has a role to play but I think our first choice back four ends up as Kayode , SVDB , Collins and Hickey at LB .
We shall see !! some lease bad this

Couldn't agree less. No chance of Hickey starting at LB ahead of RicoControversial opinion warning……!!! I think that the level we are aspiring to be at may just be a step too far for Rico.

best full back to play for the bees IMO, he would be playing for a big 6 team now or a big european team if not for his injuriesControversial opinion warning……!!! I think that the level we are aspiring to be at may just be a step too far for Rico.

We’re a more attacking team than Southgate’s England and Rico wasn’t good enough at attacking to make it into Southgate’s plans. QEDWell, our standards are very high. ???
It's simply this for me.I sincerely hope we see a rejuvenated Rico after a few games to get back into the swing of things. It’s possible he’s lost a bit of pace, that was probably always going to be the case as the years pass by, but I hope that during his rehab he’s thought about and worked on his attacking side with the coaches so added more there than he’s lost through years.
Was he?Was knocking on England's door
Yes he was ...Was he?
I don’t recall that he was ever seriously considered.
According to whom?Yes he was ...
